PRONTO’s information and referral services help individuals and families resolve immediate problems in areas such a housing, employment, health, jobs, governmental agencies, and other areas of concern. More than 12,000 individuals in 2002 came to or called PRONTO, with questions concerning advocacy, location of treatment centers, information about support groups, housing options, types of professionals and the service they provide, questions regarding their housing situation, small business aid, immigration laws, citizenship classes and a variety of other questions.
